Strip Heater

Strip Heaters for Industrial Heating Applications

Choose from different temperature ranges, construction styles, mounting options, and electrical configurations to meet your application requirements.

Strip Heater Options

Built to handle rugged industrial applications, cast strip heaters provide uniform heating across flat surfaces and withstand operating temperatures up to 1,000°F. Corrosion-resistant aluminum or stainless steel construction makes them well suited for mold and die heating, extrusion machinery, large flat plates, and heavy-duty manufacturing equipment.

Designed for demanding high-temperature and radiant heating applications, ceramic strip heaters operate at temperatures up to 1,800°F. Coil-on-ceramic construction provides high watt density, thermal retention, and durability for applications including dryers and ovens, heat sealing equipment, molds, platens, and plastics and rubber processing.

Mica strip heaters provide consistent radiant and conductive heat for flat-surface applications at temperatures up to 750°F. Precision-wound resistance wire, high dielectric strength mica insulation, and customizable mounting and lead options make them a versatile choice for molds, platens, presses, food-processing equipment, test equipment, hot plates, and trays.

Custom Strip Heater Options

Strip heaters can be configured to meet specific equipment and process requirements. Depending on the heater type, available options include custom lengths and widths, holes and notches, built-in thermocouples or thermowells, flexible fiberglass leads, armored cable, braided wire, screw terminals, plugs, and housings.
